The position 

As the Global Head of Security Partnering and Security Adviser for Denmark, you play an important role in the further development of our world class security and resilience organisation. You will be leading a team of Regional Security Advisers working closely with senior stakeholders across the company to deliver the Global Security services offering across the organisation. You will personally ensure the delivery of these services across Denmark. 

  • Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of Global Security services across Novo Nordisk’s regions. 
  • Represent the Business Partnering arm of Global Security in the Management Team. 
  • Ensure team motivation and focus on career development for your team. 
  • Advise sites and affiliate leadership teams in Denmark. 
  • Coordinate the network of Security Champions in the country. 
  • Work closely with the Physical Security Operations team within Corporate Facilities. 
  • Oversee the effectiveness of security solutions implemented across the organisation. 
  • Conduct security surveys, trainings, and investigations as required. 

Working closely with the VP Global Security, and as a key member of the Global Security Management Team, you will contribute to the delivery of a holistic and proactive security risks management approach. You will also deputise for the VP Global Security as required. 

 

Qualifications 

We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following qualifications: 

  • Ideally Masters Degree (e.g. Security Risk Management, International Relations, Geopolitics etc), but education can be replaced by corresponding experience. 
  • Solid generalist corporate security, military, intelligence or law enforcement experience in an international (ideally global) environment. 
  • Significant team leadership experience. 
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to build and deliver multi-year plans. 
  • Strong business partnering skills, a genuine interest and understanding of the commercial/business aspects of the role, and a proven ability to provide a balanced and pragmatic approach to security risk management. 
  • Ability to lead through influence in a matrix organisation and to work and deliver across countries & cultures. 

Candidate should possess a self-driven, can-do attitude with a result-oriented entrepreneurial mindset and a strong ability to deliver, a strong team player with unquestionable integrity. This role required Fluency in English and while fluency in Danish is not required, it is considered a serious asset.
