The position

As a Shutdown Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the production readiness of our Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) facilities. Your key tasks will include: 

  • Executing and optimizing the planning of technical support activities at multiple production facilities.
  • Coordinating with various stakeholders daily to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Ensuring compliance with Novo Nordisk and regulatory requirements.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of shutdown processes and procedures. 

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Visual management skills, preferably within planning systems such as MS Project or similar.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance.
  • Full professional proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.

 

Furthermore, you have the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. If you have effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, we look forward to hearing from you.

 

About the department

As part of Novo Nordisk PSQIT organisation, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development & Scaling makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for clinical trials and have a strong culture with a “can do” mind-set.

 

The Development Area is in Bagsværd, Denmark, and is part of the Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Control (CMC) API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) Pilots organization. With over 65 employees, our department plays a crucial role in API manufacturing and process development for Novo Nordisk’s development products.

 

We strive to create a production-ready facility with stable supplies and sufficient capacity to meet the demands of API production. As a member of the Facility Team, you will contribute to ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards set by Novo Nordisk and regulatory authorities.
