The position 
As a senior reliability and maintenance specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing asset management strategies and best practices that optimize the performance, reliability, and lifecycle costs of our production assets. 

 

Your main responsibilities and tasks will be:

  • Support the development and implementation of asset management strategies and plans that align with the company's vision, mission, and goals, while leading the global deployment of asset management best practices, tools, and methodologies, such as ISO 55000, RCM, FMEA, RCA, TPM, and CBM/PdM.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as site leaders, operations managers, maintenance teams, engineering groups, suppliers, contractors, and consultants, to ensure alignment and integration of asset management and reliability objectives and activities.
  • Establish and monitor asset performance indicators, such as availability, reliability, maintainability, and asset health, identifying and prioritizing asset reliability risks and opportunities and develop action plans to mitigate or eliminate them. Perform site assessments to asset management standards.
  • Facilitate / train asset management knowledge and best practices across the organization and foster a culture of asset management excellence and continuous learning. Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to site asset management and reliability teams, and support their professional development and career growth.
  • Manage asset management and reliability projects and programs and ensure timely and effective delivery of outcomes and benefits, while staying abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in asset management and reliability, and evaluate their applicability and feasibility for our business. Prepare and present asset management and reliability reports and recommendations to senior management and other relevant audiences.

 

You will work closely with site partners, operations managers, maintenance teams, and engineering groups to ensure alignment and consistency in reliability across our global network of production sites. You will also lead the implementation of reliability improvement initiatives, asset performance monitoring systems, and asset management standards and policies. 
You will report to the global director of AME Reliability & Maintenance and be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that drives operational excellence and continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, maintenance, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in asset management and reliability, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering successful asset management and reliability projects and programs and driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in asset management and reliability principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices, such as ISO 55000, RCM, FMEA, RCA, TPM, and CBM.
  • Proficient in asset management and reliability software and systems, such as CMMS, EAM, APM, and PdM.
  • Professional certification is preferred, such as  CMRP, CRL, CAMA, AMP, or equivalent
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership, management, and coaching skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Highly analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex and critical issues.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Willing and able to travel internationally up to 30% of the time.
  • Professional competence to be able to work in English.

 

About the department
We are a newly established organizational unit, Asset Management & Platform Performance (AMPP). With almost 100 colleagues, we play a key role in accelerating a major transformation to improve performance across a global network of factories in Asia, Europe as well as North and South America to meet the need of the increasing number of people living with diabetes and obesity. AMPP is an organizational unit in Injectable Finished Products (IFP), which is the largest production area in Novo Nordisk.
