The Position

As a Senior Data & Insights Professional, you will ensure a data foundation that measures and manages the most important KPIs for our business while providing insights into the future to fulfil our strategic aspirations. You will use your curiosity and solid toolbox within data analysis to provide best-in-class performance management overviews and build sustainable solutions that cover the needs of both current and future operations.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Connecting the dots between multiple data sources to collect the insights needed.

  • Translating operational and strategic business needs into data points.

  • Developing and managing cross-functional dashboards supporting operations.

  • Building, maintaining, and effectively managing sustainable data models supporting decision-making.

  • Acting as an analytical resource in larger strategic projects with pre-defined scope.

 

Additionally, you will play a key role in driving the in-team definition of a best-in-class data analysis framework.

 

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, we would like you to have:

 

  • A master’s degree in Data, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business, or any other relevant field.

  • At least 3 years of experience with data analysis.

  • Experience with ETL and visualization tools, preferably Alteryx, Tableau, and/or PowerBI.

  • Knowledge of SQL with hands-on data management experience with relational databases such as SQL Server.

 

Supply Chain experience within Pharma or a similar regulated environment would be a plus.

 

As a person, you are structured, with a highly analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills. You possess the ability to translate complex logic into data solutions that can be used by decision-makers. You have strong communication and collaboration skills. You pay attention to detail and ensure your work is executed accurately and thoroughly. Lastly, you know how to prioritize, manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment, and make real-time decisions.

 

About the Department

You will be part of the IT, Data & Digital department, which is responsible for building and managing data insights and driving digitalization and innovation in processes within Sourcing Operations (SoOp). SoOp has overall responsibility for the incoming supply chain at Novo Nordisk and consists of 500 dedicated employees.

 

You will join a diverse and high-performing team with a variety of backgrounds in data analysis, innovation, digitalization, IT, and project management. We use our differences to create novel ideas and high-quality solutions to ensure continuous improvement of the Sourcing Operations function globally. You will work in the headquarters, characterized by innovation, openness, and highly engaged colleagues who are dedicated to changing lives for the better for patients around the world.

 

Working location: Please be aware that this position is currently located in Bagsværd, Denmark, but as of Dec 1st 2024, we will relocate to new office facilities in Taastrup, Denmark.
