The position 

As a Business Analyst – Risk Monitoring, you will have the following responsibilities: 

  • Establish and drive monitoring related to GLP-1 Ethics & Compliance (E&C) unit risks, including creating risk methodology and overview, developing monitoring indicators, and building data structure and relevant systems for digital, data-driven and automated risk monitoring 

  • Monitor and understand trends related to E&C GLP-1 risk management, conduct/operationalise monitoring, identifying risks, suggesting mitigating actions, and sharing insights with relevant stakeholders 

  • Leverage data and AI to better understand GLP-1 risks, by proactively identifying and leveraging different internal data sources and leveraging new technology to promote accuracy and automation of monitoring 

  • Contribute to other risk management, digital solutions, and projects in BECO, by driving projects to support the E&C business partnering functions, supporting the broader Digital E&C Operations team, and ensuring timely updates on project status for all key stakeholders 

 

Additionally, it is important to secure a good collaboration between BECO, CSCA, BECO in Bangalore & the Global Compliance Organisation, as well as with other relevant stakeholders. 

 

This job is located at our headquarters in Denmark. 

 

Qualifications 

To succeed in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications: 

  • Master of Science in Data Science, Economics, Business Administration, or other relevant theoretical background 

  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant role, with a strong academic track record and grades 

  • Seasoned business analyst or project management profile with a solid understanding of compliance 

  • Digital skills and tech- and data-savvy, preferably with experience in establishing monitoring solutions or other data-oriented platforms 

  • Substantial experience working with data and digital tools such as PowerBI, PowerApps, etc 

  • Stakeholder management skills, including building and maintaining strategic relations relevant to the project(s) to strengthen Novo Nordisk’s (NN) position within compliance 

 

On a personal level, you possess strong communication skills, effectively engaging with all stakeholders while being open to constructive input, and have a solid understanding of business and industry trends, knowing how to apply these insights appropriately to projects. Your compliance expertise ensures that both global and local organisations are optimally developed and trained in relevant E&C requirements. Additionally, you excel at driving compliance programs by executing, following up, and further developing key compliance projects. 

 

About the department 

This position is anchored in the Digital Ethics and Compliance Operations team in the Business Ethics Compliance Office (BECO) in Finance & Compliance (F&C). 

 

BECO develops and leads the implementation of Novo Nordisk’s global ethics & compliance strategy and programme, which focuses on the prevention of fraud, bribery, and off-label promotion. BECO is also responsible for Novo Nordisk’s global systems and processes related to tracking payments to healthcare professionals, as well as compliance with data protection regulations and respect for human rights.
