The Position 

As a Supply Chain Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will: 

  • Lead supply chain development and S&OP processes by aligning cross-functional planning with business objectives and ensuring responsive, market-driven supply strategies. 

  • Manage distribution and logistics operations to ensure OTIF performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement through effective coordination with partners and resolution of logistical challenges. 

  • Define and execute supply chain strategies focused on agility, inventory optimisation, and operational efficiency, ensuring alignment with business goals through continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Lead and develop high-performing supply chain teams by setting clear objectives, fostering collaboration, and driving growth through targeted training and development. 

 

Qualifications 

To be successful in this role, you should have: 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Foreign Trade, Business Administration, or a related field. 

  • Fluent English & Mandatory Spanish (written and spoken) with strong communication skills across functions and stakeholders. 

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in supply chain management—preferably in the pharmaceutical industry—including 2+ years in a leadership role. 

  • Strong expertise in foreign trade, SAP/MRP systems, and managing 3PL or logistics vendors. 

  • Proven ability to oversee end-to-end supply chain functions (planning, distribution, logistics, imports/exports, customer service) and lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives. 

 

About the Department 

Join our dynamic Supply Chain team in Santiago de Chile, where we are responsible for all the steps involved in getting products from suppliers to customers. Our activities include obtaining goods and services for various business processes, managing finished goods demand inventory, and ensuring quality, wastage, and inventory levels are met. We also handle the movement, storage, and inventory control of materials and manage import/export and customs processes.
