About the department
Procurement GBS is the offshoring unit of Global Procurement and is part of Finance GBS Bangalore. The Purchasing Operations - HQ team within Procurement GBS is responsible for indirect spend, delivering and supporting order management, invoice resolution activities, query management, tactical sourcing, P2P system support, and PO audit controls. The team operates in a dynamic and collaborative environment, ensuring high-quality deliverables and customer satisfaction.

The position
As a Senior Associate II at Novo Nordisk, you will: Key responsibilities include:

• Sourcing activities, Purchase order management, Invoicing and payment, Contract management, Controlling activities and compliance, Performance monitoring, General procurement support.
•  Handle a wide selection of procurement-related tasks and build a deep understanding of the complex customer landscape.
• Act as a gatekeeper of company funds by ensuring compliant procurement activities and adherence to internal and external requirements.
• Support the execution of the sourcing strategy for minor complex packages within the main procurement plan.
• Coordinate across stakeholders to ensure order placement and timely delivery for less complex packages within the overall Procurement Plan.
• Review supplier qualifications to identify potential suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery performance, and customer service.
• Execute processes and projects in accordance with guidelines and minimum requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business administration, finance, supply chain or similar.
• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience within procurement in a sourcing professional role.
• Strong skills in negotiation, communication, presentation, project management, data management, and analysis.
