About the department
You will be joining the Global Finance GBS Bangalore team,
which was established in 2007. Our team is responsible for
supporting Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial
Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for Headquarters, North
America, International Operations (IO), Product Supply & GBS
Bangalore. Our main purpose is to provide superior service to
our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in
terms of standardization and efficiency.
The position
As an Advance Business Analyst, you will:
Lead and
ensure accurate month-end closing, financial reporting, and
planning, covering monthly/quarterly internal reporting packages
and budgeting. Act as the SPOC for the UK/US R&D sites and
address their queries along with the Head of Finance.
Continuously review, enhance, and optimise finance and
accounting processes while driving cross-functional projects.
Identify value creation opportunities based on business
understanding. Support R&D Finance controllers in processes
and key initiatives. Collaborate and drive the FP&A and GBS
Finance initiatives along with the team.
• Prepare Monthly Management reports and other internal
reporting packages.
• Prepare high-quality budget
submissions and presentations for the BRM meeting.
•
Independently drive the Brand P&L process to ensure
transparency in resource allocation during budget cycles.
Prepare analysis files for management and address BA queries and
submissions during budget processes. Drive digitalization
projects.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and partner with
management for strategic initiatives. Actively participate in
internal and cross-functional projects.
• Maintain the
cost Centre structure in SAP. Ensure SOPs are maintained as part
of BCP.
Qualifications
• Master’s in finance (or equivalent) from a
well-recognised institute.
• Minimum 9+ years of work
experience in the finance domain and 6+ years in FP&A with a
good understanding of the finance value chain.
• Strong
analytical skills and the ability to keep an eye on the overall
process.
• Clear and precise communication skills, with
the ability to collaborate effectively with
stakeholders.
• Proficiency in PC-tools, extensive
knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
• Exceptional written
and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder
management experience.
• Working knowledge of VBA /
Power BI .
• Good academic track record and
grades.
• Good communication and presentation
skills.
• Ability to handle and prioritise several
tasks.
• A team player and good collaborator.
Ro-activeness and problem-solving skills.
