The position
We are seeking an experienced manager to oversee the IT and automation (OT) operations for our Local Manufacturing sites in Algeria, Japan, Russia and Iran. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Infrastructure, IT systems and computerized equipment. The role is expected to have a close collaboration with site management and strategic vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Being the IT partner for the production sites.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate actively with the site management ensuring lifecycle management is addressed, compliance ensured, and target architecture implemented.
  • Taking ownership of the full stack of IT systems and IT in computerized equipment making sure that the IT/OT setup is designed for the future. 
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of IT systems.
  • Close collaboration and interaction with strategic vendors. 
  • Be an ambassador for the Novo Nordisk culture and promote a cLEAN, agile and learning culture.

In the strategic perspective you will be part of steering groups with focus on maintainability, security and delivery, and spearhead strategic initiatives and communication campaigns in close collaboration with the DD&IT PS leadership team.


Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on manufacturing operations.
  • Strong leadership and management skills. Proven track record in driving the strategic business agenda, developing standards, and fostering a high-performance culture
  • In-depth knowledge of IT and OT systems and their applications in manufacturing.

On a personal level, you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. You have an inclusive mindset with a focus on diversity, empathy, and creating a sustainable work environment.


About the team
You will join Digital, Data & IT, Product Supply anchored within the Digital, Data & IT organization with approximately 1200 employees based in Denmark, India, US, China, France, and Brazil. The strategic objective of the unit is to be the IT partner for the business, ensuring that we provide the IT solutions to the Novo Nordisk production solutions, as well as support shopfloor needs worldwide.

You will be placed in both Søborg together with other colleagues from Local Manufacturing and Gentofte together with colleagues from FPM and DDIT FPM.
