The position

This crucial role will focus on enhancing, maintaining, and developing our business intelligence platform's architecture, support, maintenance, and improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with external team members and stakeholders to lead and assist daily platform operation activities

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic architecture, maintenance, and improvement of our business intelligence platform, emphasizing optimization of Business Intelligence (BI) platforms for effective data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Drive the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions, ensuring smooth integration, scalability, and resilience within the cloud environment, specifically tailored to Business Intelligence (BI) platforms.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and ensure platform infrastructure and resources are secure and compliant with the organization's standards and practices.
• Use expertise in understanding cloud cost and billing to optimize usage and maintain cost-efficiency within the cloud environment.
• Responsible to onboard new projects on platforms, also drive and support proof of concepts for new tools and technologies. Act as a product owner for BI and ETL platforms

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in platform architecture and support activities with expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) platforms and ETL platforms.
• Skill in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with hands-on expertise in architecting and maintaining cloud-based solutions tailored to Business Intelligence (BI) platforms. Expertise in working with version management tools, incident management system, SSO, VPC and Firewall
• Proven expertise in understanding cloud cost and billing to optimize usage and maintain cost-efficiency within the cloud environment.  Should have working understanding of at least two business intelligence platforms (Qlik, Tableau or PowerBI are preferred) and one ETL platform (Informatica or IICS is preferred), also understanding of Windows and Linux OS.
• Fluent English is required.
