As a Laboratory Technician you will play a crucial role in supporting us to ensure the quality and efficiency of the operation in our laboratories. Whether you are a super user of a particular system, prefer to work with managing equipment, data processing or have other skills, your contributions will be an integrated part of the continuous improvements of our work processes and the use of technology in the laboratory environment.

As a Laboratory Technician in Novo Nordisk, you will collaborate with chemists and other Laboratory Technicians to perform a variety of tasks that may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and establish various analyses and methods
  • Ensure efficient laboratory operation
  • Performing analyses and providing data for analytical use
  • Formulation and validation of products and methods
  • Daily planning and documentation

We would like to emphasize that the above tasks are just examples of tasks and will vary depending on the specific position. The job description may extend beyond what is mentioned here, and offer a diverse and exciting range of tasks to dive into.

At Novo Nordisk we are continuously looking for Laboratory Technicians to join us. To ensure a more efficient and simple recruitment process, we use our Talent Pipeline to create a job bank of relevant candidates. Since not all our positions are posted online, being part of the Talent Pipeline means that you have the opportunity to apply only once and still be considered for all open positions, whether they have been posted or not. When a position is a match for you based on your experience, qualifications and job aspirations, we will continuously match you with relevant positions by presenting your CV to the Hiring Manager.  If the Hiring Manager finds your profile relevant for the specific position, we will contact you with information about the position, and we will try to schedule a formal interview with the Hiring Manager. When the Pipeline is about to expire, you will be notified and will have the opportunity to reapply to continue to be considered for relevant positions as a Laboratory Technician.

To be successful in a Laboratory Technician role, we imagine that you:

  • Have a degree as a Laboratory Technician, Biomedical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
  • Are a resident of Denmark.
  • Have good communication skills in Danish, and you are comfortable communicating in English - both orally and in writing.
