Apply now!

The Job

As an Associate Scientist in the 4C plant, you will work with a skilled, highly engaged, and independent team of about 10 colleagues to operate our plant and utilities, so we are always ready for production. The facility consists of various purification systems, filtration systems, chemical reactors, and spray dryers. In addition, there are utilities, solvent mixers, waste treatment plants, and a laboratory.

We are now looking for a Associate Scientist who will work closely with the chemical modification processes. As our chemical suite is still under construction, there will be a great opportunity to influence our final production setup, and part of the work will initially involve getting our chemical reactors up and running.

Your tasks are responsible for:

  • Planning and process execution in the plant
  • Documentation
  • Daily operation of the plants and related activities

We offer you a challenging and innovative environment with various tasks, close collaboration with skilled colleagues, and a focus on developing your professional and personal competencies.

We handle all tasks in the facility, including maintenance, ordering of goods, etc., so we can guarantee a versatile workday. In 4C, we take pride in making things work, we do it together, and we always deliver with a can-do attitude, humor, and team spirit.

Qualifications

  • You have a degree in process technology, laboratory technology, or similar
  • You have practical experience with chemical modification in laboratory, pilot, or production scale
  • We emphasize that you have theoretical knowledge of chemical modification
  • In addition, we would like you to have technical interest and knowledge of process technology and process control
  • Familiarity with filtration processes (UF/DF), purification, or spray drying is also an advantage
  • Knowledge of utility plants - process water, solvents, waste, cooling systems, etc. is also an advantage, as operation of such equipment may also be part of the job
  • You speak fluent English and Danish

We expect you are an independent Associate Scientist with a flair for both plant, planning, and documentation. It comes naturally to you to work solution-oriented when, for example, a production needs to run for the first time. You are motivated by working in a team with many skills that need to work together. You come with a good drive and are not afraid to take action and take responsibility for finding solutions and following through. You are good at keeping an overview, and you thrive in a changing everyday life. Collaboration and credibility are in focus, and we attach great importance to always developing the team and lifting together - therefore, we are looking for someone who sees themselves as a team player who can contribute positively to our department.

About the Team

You will be part of a team of about 10 employees responsible for operating our new non-GMP plant in Bagsværd. You will work closely with technicians, laboratory technicians, and chemists across teams and departments to ensure API deliveries for non-clinical trials. Here you will have the opportunity to work in an exciting and varied everyday life, in an open and dynamic working environment with rich opportunities for professional and personal development and sparring.
