The position

As a Global Business Continuity Manager, you will be responsible to:

  • Ensure an effective global BCM programme, by guaranteeing an effective BCM System (BCMS) within the company, and aligning with the broader resilience strategy
  • Oversee the design and development of an organizational BCM capacity development and training programme
  • Act as the subject matter expert on BCM matters, and identify recommendations for appropriate technology and tooling, to increase maturity and improve efficiency
  • Lead on organisational Business Impact Assessments
  • Collaborate with Global Resilience Manager to integrate BCM with other resilience programmes and initiatives to enhance organisational resilience

 

As part of your role, you will work with Global Security colleagues to help the continued development of the Global Security function.

The role will be based in Denmark, with a global, enterprise-wide, scope.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you hold an academic degree and a BCM qualifications, minimum CBCI, or equivalent, and you have 8+ years of relevant experience in business continuity management.

  • Experience of implementing BCM programmes, writing organisational BCM policy documentation, and BCM auditing
  • Experience of conducting large BIAs
  • Experience of delivering BCM training to staff within a broader capacity development strategy
  • Ideally, experience delivering within manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, R&D organisations, or other quality compliance heavy sectors
  • Ideally, experience of contract management

 

On a personal level, you are highly organized with a strong team ethos and effective communication skills, enabling you to work efficiently within a large matrix organization involving multiple stakeholders. Your pragmatic and flexible approach helps navigate uncertainty. Furthermore, you possess strong stakeholder management and internal advocacy capabilities, with a proven ability to collaborate with different cultures and subject matter experts.

You will join a team of over 10 Global Security Team colleagues and a Security Champions network that spans the globe. Our mission is to protect Novo Nordisk’s people, assets, and products, enabling the company to deliver on its priority objectives through intelligence-led security risk management.
