What are your thoughts on the Industrial Master’s programme?
I started on the programme last summer, and the learning curve has been steep since, both on a personal and professional level. We are an international class with students from many different countries, and there is a strong sense of unity among us. The same goes for working at Novo Nordisk, where I have met many new people and increased my network.
One thing that stands out is the practical dimension at work, as you get to work with colleagues who have been in the job market for up to 25 years. You learn a lot from their experiences and insights, which is something you don’t get from studying.
How is studying in Kalundborg?
I moved from Copenhagen to Kalundborg when I started this programme, and I really enjoy the closeness of everything. The campus offers several educational programs and is located close to biotech companies. So, you quickly become part of a community with other students and colleagues, which is quite unique. One plus is also that the city is close to nature, which is something I missed when I lived in the capital.
There are also many new initiatives being established in the city, especially for students. For instance, we meet to play paddle, work out, or attend the Friday bars at Campus Kalundborg.
Would you recommend others to apply?
Absolutely. If you enjoy studying but want to try something new and different, then this is the best opportunity you can find. You get to continue your studies, get a good salary and can use your skills in the real world.
Although four years may seem like a long time, you get to learn and develop significantly.
