At Novo Nordisk Site Hillerød, we are around 4,000 employees developing, producing, and filling injection pens to help patients around the world living with serious chronic diseases, such as diabetes and obesity. Here we also house a large factory dedicated to the production of life-saving medicine for patients with rare diseases.

Who we are looking for
Currently, we are hiring many new colleagues in various engineering roles, including mechanical, automation, robotics, IT, validation, processes, manufacturing and much more. Also, we are looking for process operators, electricians, mechanics, technicians, project managers, associate managers, and pharmacists or similar background. See current open jobs at our site.

Devices & Delivery Solutions (DDS)
In DDS, we develop the next generation of medical devices. We design and create innovative delivery solutions for our treatments to ensure correct dosing and convenience for our patients. Our employees in Hillerød primarily consists of technical academics and engineers, who are involved in a wide range of development projects, including injection pens, connectivity solutions, and software for medical devices.
Finished Product Manufacturing Science & Technology (FPMSAT)
In FPMSAT, we bridge new products from research and development to production. Our responsibility includes introducing all new devices for launch at the initial production site. We take ownership of the devices in the market and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements. Our international colleagues are highly skilled, and we actively explore new technologies, such as robotics, simulation and machine learning, in close collaboration with stakeholders and universities to pave the way for transformative solutions for future production.
Device Components Manufacturing (DCM)
DCM at Site Hillerød is a production facility of plastic components for injection pens. We focus on maintaining sustainable production, optimizing our processes and operations through a LEAN approach, and implementing modern technology for digitalization. We primarily employ skilled workers, engineers, and operators.
Aseptic Manufacturing (AM)
AM Site Hillerød is a launch factory and a high-volume facility. We are involved in the formulation, filling, assembly, and packaging of injection pens for the treatment of obesity and diabetes for markets worldwide. We operate 24/7 and primarily employ operators, skilled workers, engineers, scientific professionals, project managers, and technicians, among other professional groups.
API Manufacturing (M4)
In API Manufacturing in Hillerød, we manufacture some of Novo Nordisk's rare disease products. API Manufacturing works with advanced processes such as cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying to ensure the purest possible production of the API used in life-saving medicine for people with serious chronic diseases. We employ scientific professionals, pharmacists, lab technicians, project managers, and technicians, among other professional groups.
API Expansion (API EX)
We are expanding our API Manufacturing capacity and building a new factory in Hillerød to produce treatment for serious conditions. We are constructing a technologically advanced facility, and by joining our team, you will have a unique opportunity to influence the future. Currently, the focus is on construction; however, in addition to project managers and engineers, we are also hiring talented individuals to join as operators, technicians, academics, and in other crucial roles.
Sourcing operations (SoOp)
In Sourcing Operations, we oversee the global inbound supply chain of packaging and raw materials for production and clinical trials. At Site Hillerød, we have a Global Inbound Warehouse and cover both an analytical laboratory and a physical testing area. A wide range of instruments, chemicals, and techniques are used to perform analyses, making the department one of the most complex laboratories at Novo Nordisk. At Site Hillerød, we employ a wide range of professional profiles, ranging from operators, lab technician, logistics experts and training experts.
Global Contract Manufacturing Devices (GCM Devices)
GCM Devices builds and manages the global external supply network of prefilled and durable devices. Our primary focus is on ensuring the supply of high-quality medical device components, assemblies and packaged devices, specifically designed to serve patients living with chronic diseases. We run major investment projects to establish and expand external manufacturing capacity for existing and new device platforms. At Site Hillerød, GCM Devices primarily employs engineers, project managers and supply chain professionals.
Corporate Facilities (CFA)
In Corporate Facilities’ Service Center at Site Hillerød, we are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the facilities’ energy supply, technical installations and interior maintenance as well as the site's physical infrastructure and cross-functional service operations. We also support the new construction project organization in preparing operations, and we are responsible for upgrading the site’s energy supply and improving traffic conditions. In Corporate Facilities at Site Hillerød, we primarily employ engineers (and ‘maskinmestre’), project managers and skilled workers.

Site Expansions
Novo Nordisk Site Hillerød is undergoing significant development in these years. We are constructing several new facilities and expanding the existing production facilities at the site. In this context, we are also upgrading the energy supply and the traffic infrastructure, as well as securing the production facilities against damage from heavy rainfall. Additionally, we are constructing a parking garage and new walking and cycling paths on the site.
