We’re looking for agile coaches to train the organisation on the agile mindset, values and methodologies – as well as role model techniques and behaviour. Coaching and mentoring agile roles, teams and ARTs is another important part of the role.
We typically look for candidates with a bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Computer Science or a similar field of study. On top of that, we look for candidates with hands-on experience in coaching and leading agile teams, either as Scrum Master or Agile Coach. You should be well-versed with Scrum and DevOps practices, and able to adapt your approach to the specific context and people. Bringing agile experience from large companies is a plus, but the total amount of education and experience required varies depending on the job level.
On a personal level, it’s necessary to have good coaching skills, e.g. listen to understand, not to answer and to be tough on the problem, but kind to people. You should be able to provide feedback constructively, be a strong relationship builder and be able to motivate and inspire people to change. Understanding stakeholder management and the ability to communicate information to people at different levels in the organisation is also important. As English is the corporate language in Novo Nordisk, fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
