Do you have a senior record in managing projects, with a calm-and-collected overview, a can-do attitude, as well as a standardization and collaborative mindset? Are you energized by putting your efforts into expanding the current Novo Nordisk portfolio as well as bringing new products to the market, to the benefit of patient’s needs? And do you feel comfortable working in a GxP regulated environment?

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to manage and drive the build of our Single Dose Devices pre-assembly lines bringing current and new products to the market. Give us a call, and let’s talk about this great opportunity together!

The Position

As a Senior Project Manager role within the Assembly team, you will be in charge of initiating, executing, and finalizing projects within our project execution framework. A key aspect of this position is acting as the link between work groups, steering groups, project owners, project governance, and key stakeholders. Reporting and communicating across various levels of the business is a critical part of project management.

Some of your main responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating project activities involving a wide range of highly skilled engineers and specialists to implement highly innovative assembly lines.
  • Setting budget and leading collaboration and partnership with equipment suppliers, production, and lead supplier consultation for clinical and high-volume equipment.
  • Managing equipment supplier interactions to secure their delivery according to plan and all work packages (equipment, IT/automation, process validation and innovation).
  • Handing over the fully validated equipment to production.
  • Leading, developing and inspiring the project team as well as handling stakeholder managers (which includes presentation to steering group).

It is of great importance to be aware that your tasks lie within a global manufacturing development organisation, with expected travel of 60+ days a year, to interact with suppliers and local production sites. In addition, as a Senior Project Manager in the team, we will encourage you to contribute to the continuous improvement (cLEAN) of our everyday work as well as more tactical and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

This opportunity can help you become part of something bigger, growing your career, and driving projects within our Assembly Project management Office (PMO).

In this job you will actively be engaging with internal and – to a large extend - external partners to succeed in timely and standardized build of device assembly lines to the benefit of millions of patients around the globe.

Jump in and become part of a very international and diverse team where both laughs, and the informal-yet-professional environment is ranked as top priorities!

To be considered for this position, we expect you to possess:

  • A degree in engineering or any other relevant field, preferably a master’s degree, in manufacturing, natural sciences, engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with Project Management, Program Management, and driving strategic investment projects in a global stakeholder landscape.
  • Change management and innovation skills.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, backed by a strong foundation in engineering.
  • Experience to make presentations at Management and Sr. Management level and broad expertise in utilizing various project tools and effective project reporting.
  • Experience with production, process development and implementation of production equipment within a GMP regulated industry would be preferred.
  • Validation experience would be considered as an asset.

As a person, you have fluency in English, both written and spoken. You possess the ability to see the greater picture in a complex and dynamic environment where changes in priorities, projects and timing can occur. You have strong execution, communication, and collaboration skills and a proven ability to collaborate within a complex organization. In addition, you demonstrate courage and interest to engage with technical projects ensuring assembly lines are delivered to our sites to support future demand.

As an individual, you easily build trust in your relationships and get commitment from internal and external stakeholders. You are proactive, responsible and able to systematically follow up and hold people accountable. You excel at engaging people to achieve their best and grow while achieving results in the project. Finally, your excellent communication skills allow you to obtain strong commitment.
