The Position
As the Senior Manager in Validation Standards at Novo Nordisk, you will be part of a team that has the key purpose to support Fill Finish Expansions Program in creating an efficient scaling strategy for filling capacity across the world. This is achieved through a standardised approach for all Qualification/Verification activities.
Your department owns the Quality Strategy for the entire Program and will develop execution concepts for each test and verification phase and related execution templates, guidelines, and training. The team’s primary stakeholders are the Technical Work packages and QA on the global Program, and the Engineering and Quality leads for each Global site.
The key tasks will include:
• Develop the purpose and scope for Quality Planning ensuring successful development of standards and execution across the Program.
• Drive the development your organisation to support the execution scope while also focusing on a 1–2-year horizon.
• Guide, coach and lead your employees in the team; set direction and mentor your organisation’ members for individual growth.
• Provide clear goals for your department.
• Establish regular 1:1 and touch base meetings with key stakeholders across the Program to assess needs, develop better solutions and initiate new plans.
As part of your role, you will lead the change. The nature of the project and degree of standardisation is unprecedented. This requires special focus on driving a standardised scope across many sites and change management should be part of an everyday consideration. You will drive the initiation of new strategic initiatives whether its within people management or project execution.
This position is based in Lyngby. Occasional travel to Foreign Sites may be needed and it is estimated to be around 5-10% of the time annually.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you need to have:
• A Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering, pharma, chemistry, mechanics or similar field
• Minimum 5 years of people management experience within pharma or other relevant industry with strong Science and Risk Based Validation experience
• Experience from a large CAPEX project setting with validation focus and driving optimization
• The ability to connect with people
• Fluency in both verbal and written English.

About the Department
Our department is situated in the newly created SVP area of Fill & Finish Expansions.
Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our aseptic production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. Fill & Finish Expansions has a clear global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
