The Position
As a Project Manager with experience in medical devices, you will lead mid-size to complex projects maintaining our marketed products while ensuring capacity expansion for our production network.

Our projects are based on cross-organizational cooperation, and you will lead the finished product production part ensuring that key stakeholders (development, production, commercial, quality, regulatory, etc.) are aligned and work towards the common goal.

Your main tasks will be:
•    Overall management of manufacturing development project activities with project manager peers in key stakeholder organisations.
•    Create an engaging high performing project team by providing clear goals and purpose.
•    Identify and plan project activities related to capacity expansion and product maintenance. 
•    Create plans and drive performance by monitoring progress, aligning priorities, removing roadblocks, and escalating when needed.
•    To act as the voice of production in development projects to optimise scalability and high operating efficiency.

You will be located in Hillerød, Denmark, but will have interactions with several NN (Novo Nordisk) sites. 

 

Qualifications
 To be considered for this position, we expect you to have:
•    A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, management, or any other relevant field.
•    At least 3 years of project or stakeholder management experience from a project centric or development organisation, the medical device industry, or other similar highly regulated environment.
•    Effective communication skills at all organisational levels, and the ability of managing Steering Committees and interacting with governance bodies.
•    Being independent and comfortable in navigating a changing project and stakeholder context.
•    Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

It would be considered an advantage if you have previous experience managing larger projects or have experience with device development or medical devices in general.

You have a “can do” attitude, a healthy common sense, and a good sense of humour to your work – even when the pressure is on. You can analyse and understand complex structures and systems and can communicate them in a comprehensible way. You are a dedicated team player, result-oriented and as a person, you thrive in a busy environment. 

 

About the Department 
Finished Product Development (FPDev), part of FPMSAT, holds the design responsibility for Novo Nordisk’s medical devices and delivery systems and is the link between Development and Production. 

In FPDev, the main task is to drive the introduction of new Novo Nordisk products into market while we maintain and continue the development of variants on our marketed device and product platforms. Our deliverables are directly impacting our capability to deliver to markets, entry to new markets, and stay in market. 

You will be joining the Project Management Office of FPDev that holds the responsibility of our New Product Introduction (NPI) and LCM projects. The entire team includes 30+ Project Managers and Program Managers.
