The position
As a Senior Drug Product Project Manager, you will be driving projects through the different stages of clinical development and collaborate within CMC Development and with our colleagues in Product Supply as well as other areas of the R&D organization or contract manufacturers.

 

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the development activities and strategies for drug product formulation and manufacturing through effective project management
  • Leading a sub-project team in an engaging and motivating way 
  • Participating in writing and compiling regulatory applications and various internal and external documentation
  • Coordinating the transfer of project activities from our research unit to CMC Development and further to Product Supply or to a contract manufacturer 
  • Acting as a key contact point, communicating and coordinating with stakeholders within and beyond CMC Development

 
Apart from that, you will be a member of the CMC Project Core Team, responsible for planning and coordinating development activities within your expertise area and ensure deliveries according to the project plan.
 
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine you to:

  • Hold a master’s degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, or another relevant field within the natural sciences
  • Bring 4-6 years of hands-on experience with deep knowledge in R&D, drug product development, or QA
  • Demonstrate a high level of energy and a proactive mindset, successfully driving activities and engaging people
  • Showcase fluency in both written and spoken English

 
Apart from that, you are result-oriented, take pride in delivering on your milestones, and motivate your colleagues with a positive, forthcoming attitude. You work well independently while also being highly motivated to cooperate with colleagues and stakeholders across functions and departments.
 
About the department
You will join our department, CMC Injectable Drug Product Development - Project Office, which consists of 20 employees located in Måløv. 

 

The department is involved in early and late-stage drug product development of all new injectable entities moving through the clinical phases of drug product development in Novo Nordisk.  

 

As part of the Novo Nordisk Product Supply, Quality & IT organisation, CMC Product and Process Development makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for clinical trials and have a strong culture with a “can do” mind-set.
