Position

The position
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for
driving the outsourcing agenda, developing and improving vendor
management strategies and processes to ensure its success.
You will manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality statistical and data management services, and optimising vendor performance to meet business needs. You will manage relationships with external vendors and monitor performance against established metrics and KPIs, developing improvement plans as needed.
You will continuously evaluate and improve vendor management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Your responsibility will also be to collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks associated with outsourcing biostatistics and data management services and providing regular updates to the Biometrics leadership team on vendor performance and project status.

navigate a complex stakeholder landscape and ability to manage
multiple vendors and projects simultaneously. In addition, you
have the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively
with cross-functional teams is a necessity.
About the department
In the Novo Nordisk Development function, we are responsible
for managing clinical drug development worldwide, ensuring that
our processes follow global standards, regulations, and business
ethics while delivering viable and innovative medicine. Our team
manages the Data Science outsourcing activities, including
alliance management with our CROs, operational and tactical
support to projects, and act as a liaison between the CROs and the
project teams. Our team consists of engaged, self-driven experts
with diverse scientific backgrounds, such as data science,
statistics, programming, and data management, with in-depth
knowledge across Biostatistics and Data Management processes.
