The position

1.Medical communication
• Develop sales education materials, product brochures, and revise existing literature.

• Compose medical papers and maintain informative journal abstracts.
• Collaborate with doctors to create outlines for medical papers, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Ideate with HCPs on RWE studies, Investigator sponsored studies.

• Analyze and summarize additional data from various sources to enhance publications for medical papers.

 

2.Scientific communication & engagement strategy
• Establish and execute the scientific communication strategy and related communication plans.

• Lead the development of strategic communication plans for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of scientific communications.


3.Medical education and advocacy

• Provide medical education through scientific conference and symposium for healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key opinion
leaders (KOLs).
• Provide updated medical information to internal stakeholders, including marketing and sales force.

• Build strategic relationships with healthcare professionals and associations.
• Organize and lead educational sessions for HCPs to enhance their understanding of the therapeutic areas.
• Facilitate continuing education workshops.

 

4.Industry trends and market insights
• Keep abreast of the market trends, regulatory changes, and scientific literature to drive strategic decisions.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of educational resources to support ongoing initiatives.

 

5.Leadership and stakeholder management
• Ensure alignment of scientific strategy and medical communication across therapeutic areas.

• Foster collaboration with internal and external scientific stakeholders.
• Implement the best practices and ensure cohesive execution of medical affairs processes.
• Effectively expand and develop future Medical Affairs team.

• Mentor team members to enhance their skills and overall performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to affiliate leadership as member of management team.

 

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MPH, PharmD, M.D. or Ph.D.) in a scientific discipline is required.
• Fluency in both written & spoken English and Chineses (Cantonese +/- Mandarin).

• Minimum 12 years' of relevant work experience, especially Medical Affairs related experiences in pharmaceutical industry.
• Minimum 5 years' of work experience in managerial level.
• Experience in working in multinational pharmaceutical company is required.

• Excellent oral and presentation skills.

• Strong active listening and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated high adaptability in changing priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
