What’s the role about?
As a Product Owner, you will be joining the Data Enablers Department, which is responsible for continuously developing, scaling, and maintaining global Product Supply data platforms. These platforms efficiently extract and standardize data from production lines, IT/OT, and ERP systems. You have the opportunity to join the Data Harmonisation Layer (DHL) Agile team within the Data Enablers department. DHL is a global platform focused on collecting and harmonizing data from various Operational Technology (OT) sources across Novo Nordisk production facilities. Alternatively, you can also be part of our Supply Chain Data Hub team, a global platform that facilitates Supply Chain data and makes it available for various analytics products.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare and drive the definition of product vision and roadmap in close collaboration with Business Owners
Build, prioritize and maintain team backlog
Work collaboratively with stakeholders and Agile teams to ensure a smooth flow and understand key drivers for deliveries, enabling ongoing prioritization and content elaboration
Clarify and coordinate dependencies with other Product Owners, Product Management, external stakeholders and Agile teams, and collaborate with these to visualize and prioritise stories accordingly
Ensure the Agile team is delivering according to its commitment and work with the Agile team daily overcoming challenges and clarifying questions to ensure flow
Collaborate with the Agile team and stakeholders to understand enabler work, prioritize tasks, and ensure stories are delivered according to agreements (Definition of Done)
Contribute in Agile team events and other relevant products (e.g. POInT, NN Global PI, OEE Intelligence, NNEDH, etc.)
Which competencies to bring?
Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, chemistry, biology, or other relevant fields
Min 3 years of relevant experience
Prior experience working with Operational Technologies systems such as PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems
Strong business knowledge and work experience within GxP
Experience in Agile methodologies is required
SAFe certification in Product Ownership/Product Management
Demonstrate the ability to set a compelling purpose and vision with passion and urgency across all organizational levels, translating strategy into ambitious goals with clear priorities. Excel in stakeholder management, driving outcomes through structured approaches while empowering others and navigating global dynamics adeptly. You will be part of Data Enablers department within Product Supply Data Foundation. In Data Foundation, we strive to empower our colleagues in Novo Nordisk Product Supply to make data-driven decisions, continuously digitalize, and improve manufacturing processes. The team is very diverse both in terms of capabilities and background, with roles spanning from product owners, scrum masters, architects to hands-on data engineers and developers, and people from 15 different nationalities.
We are currently located in Ballerup and part of DD&IT – a global community of 3000+ colleagues, driving digital, data, and IT. DD&IT partners with the business to support digital transformation and innovation in all parts of the Novo Nordisk value chain – from idea to patient.
