This position has its reporting line to Capability Team Manager, who is reporting to the Head of Human Resources (also known as People & Organization Director).

The position

The Capability Lead (Training Lead) is responsible for developing the core competencies of Frontline sales force as well as Novo Nordisk Pharma Korea (NNPK) employees, by identifying competency gaps versus company needs and developing programs to build best-in-class employees. You will work on planning, executing, documenting, reporting, and following up on learning activities to ensure competency development. Additionally, you should be able to support the commercial competency development agenda, particularly covering customer engagement. Your role will involve planning, organizing, and executing internal events such as National Sales Meetings, Kick-Off Meetings, Sales Cycle Meetings, and Townhall Events, as well as the Global and P&O project, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

 

The position's key accountabilities include developing competencies through training and coaching, as well as evaluating or monitoring the effectiveness of training and developmental programs.

  • Training and Development: Manage employee training, conduct needs assessments, develop training resources, deliver workshops, and support new product launch training in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Training Evaluation & Reporting: Co-facilitate learning programs, coordinate external training providers, and prepare reports on training activities, ensuring effective implementation of projects.
  • Induction/Onboarding: Organize, coordinate, and deliver induction sessions, align onboarding programs with guidelines, and prepare materials and evaluations.
  • Organization Change Management: Develop and execute communication strategies for change management, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across all stakeholders.
  • Organizational Culture & Campaign: Plan and manage Organizational Culture programs & campaigns, internal & external events and projects, coordinate with stakeholders, oversee logistics and vendors, and ensure successful execution and reporting.

 

Qualifications

  • Experiences in global pharma industry are a must. Candidates from medical devices and consumer healthcare can also apply
  • Min. 5 years of HR development and sales training experiences in healthcare industry (*Commercial Training experience is a must)
  • Additional experiences in HR and commercial fields (CE, Marketing, Sales) would be added advantages
  • Excellent presentation skills and stakeholder management skills (local and APAC) would be required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills(Korean and English). Korean language fluency is a must to be able to communicate with local sales employees. 
  • Ability to drive changes and innovations
