The position
•     Facilitate the execution of Target Discovery Engine (TDE) initiatives, especially the activities at NNRCC;

•    Facilitate the advancement of internal collaborations across different sites (Beijing, Oxford, Boston, Denmark);
•    Communicate effectively and efficiently with key stakeholders and relevant members at all levels.

Main job tasks:
1)    Oversee all facets of TDE execution across all levels. 

-    Lead the comprehensive operational execution of projects according to the plan, which includes tracking project deliverables, monitoring the progress of the project, and coordinating project status updates and reviews with key stakeholders.
-    Coordinate strategic planning and execution of TDE assay development and scale-up.
-    Facilitate TDE data management and governance infrastructure development and documentation.

-    Ensure compliance and quality of deliverables.    
2)    Supervise the advancement of projects. Flag issues to upper management to enable successful scientific execution and pinpoint opportunities for synergies across the portfolio.    
3)    Manage & implement changes and interventions to achieve project outputs    

4)    Ensure timely and transparent communication of TDE project at all levels, capable of handling and resolving disagreements and reaching alignment.    

 

Qualifications
•    Ph.D.in biology is preferred, with more than 5 years project management experience; or Master's degree in Life Science or equivalent with >10 years project management experience.

•    Strong project management experience of driving drug discovery or development programs.
•    Demonstrated matrix leadership skills and ability to lead with integrity and empower others to achieve business outcome.
•    Proven results in navigating complex organizations/processes and managing/optimizing ongoing relationships.

•    Understanding of technical and non-technical drug discovery and development issues.
•    Exceptional ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written forms. 
•    Strong stakeholder management skills. 

•    Highly adept at interpersonal communication and cultivating relationships. 
•    Possesses the ability to employ efficient decision-making strategies to resolve problems. 
•    Has a global perspective and understands the primary challenges in the pharmaceutical industry. 

•    Promotes teamwork.
•    Well structured.
