The Position

As a Senior SAP BTP Developer, you will work closely with your Solution Architect colleagues on SAP BTP, SAP SuccessFactors Platform and ServiceNow platform and together engage with both People and Organisation (HR) and IT stakeholders to shape, design, and develop business requirements into global digital solutions for Novo Nordisk. You will work in an Agile program and engage with multiple agile teams to understand and shape the business needs and core challenges, while providing technical sparring, guidance and develop high quality solutions in close collaboration with your colleagues and implementation partners.


Main responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing SAP BTP solutions aligned with Line of Business’ objectives and strategies
  • Providing technical guidance on SAP BTP architecture, design, and best practices
  • Performing system troubleshooting, debugging, testing and optimisation to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Being involved in supporting both bugfixes and enhancements of existing applications
  • Participating in the agile teams developing new applications and extensions

 

Candidate profile

We are looking for an experienced and curious developer with an eye for developing applications that delivers a super user experience. Our ideal candidate possesses the following skills:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Business Technology Platform
  • Experience with the SAP Fiori, SAP CAP Node framework, Java Script/Typescript, Fiori Launchpad, and Cloud Foundry
  • Experience with BTP Workflow Management/SAP Build Process Automation is of high importance
  • Experience with the OData API for SuccessFactors is a plus

 

As a person, you have good communication skills with ability to effectively communicate and facilitate an involving and constructive dialogue with a wide range of stakeholders. You are a quick learner who demonstrates agility and adapts well to change. Strong analytical skills, personal drive, and problem-solving abilities are crucial. Additionally, fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a requirement. It would be an advantage to have several years of experience working in an international organisation with a complex IT environment, preferably working in an agile setup

 

Department overview

The position is anchored in our HR IT Solution Design department within the HR Digital, Data, and IT (HR DD&IT) unit, which is a global organisation consisting of approx. 90 employees based in Denmark, India, Poland and the US, and team members are placed closely to HR teams for better collaboration and hands-on business support. Novo Nordisk Global People & Organisation (HR) and HR IT collaborate closely to deliver great digital solutions to our more than 55,000 employees and leaders across the globe.


Together, we are responsible for the globalisation and digitalisation of all people related processes in Novo Nordisk. We are building solutions to deliver high quality HR services as well as great tools for leaders to hire, engage and develop their people.  In our department, we have a possibility to work from home up to 50% of time.
