The Position
Your main responsibility as an HR Student Assistant will be to provide support in relevant processes to the People and Organisation department. In addition, you will be involved in related activities such as internal engagement activities and managing HR administration. In this position you will be working flexibly, adjusted to the needs of your studies as well as to our relevant business needs. The expected working hours will be 10-16 hours per week, during normal working hours. You will have the possibility to work additional hours during peak periods.

As an HR Student Assistant your main tasks and responsibilities will be to contribute to the systematic work environment processes together with the HMS group, as well as to support internal engagement and organisation culture activities and initiatives.

You will also:

  • Provide support to employees regarding people and employment policies
  • Support recruitment processes
  • Manage HR administration within personnel related areas
  • Participate in relevant HR projects
  • Secure efficiency and process enhancement locally

 

Your main workplace will be our great office in Oslo, Nydalen.

 

Qualifications

You are currently studying HR at a University or Business School in Oslo, Norway. You are in the beginning of your studies and have as a minimum 2 years of studies left before graduating from your current program.

On top of what we would expect:

  • You have an interest, and preferably some experience, in HR processes.
  • You have good capabilities with MS Office programmes (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • You have excellent Norwegian and English language skills, in both written and spoken
  • You preferably have some relevant previous work experience.

 

As a person, you are a fast learner with strong communication and collaboration skills, eager to gain and develop business understanding. Proactive and flexible, you take initiative in your work with a can-do attitude and a focus on providing excellent service. Well-organized and detail-oriented, you maintain a quality and compliance mindset. You thrive in a team-oriented environment, embracing an "all hands-on deck" mentality.

 

About the Department

Our Norwegian affiliate consists of approximately 80 employees across sales, marketing, clinical, medical, and other functions. In addition to the P&O Director, you will work closely with our local team including the HR Specialist, Internal Engagement Coordinator, HR Student Assistant, and other relevant cross-functional collaborations such as our Verneombud.
