Digital Foundation (DF) is part of the Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) department - where we partner with the business to support digital transformation and innovation in all parts of the Novo Nordisk value chain. Our vision is to accelerate software development by taking ownership in developing and delivering software development platforms, tools, processes, and advisory services.  

 

We strive to make software development teams more effective and efficient, by focusing three areas: 

  • Scaling software development capability 

  • Increasing focus on building valuable code 

  • Enabling faster releases & time to market 

 

Our current team consists of a very diverse pool of talent, with colleagues from various backgrounds and 11 different nationalities – something we at DF are very proud of!  

 

What will you be doing? 

As a People Leader, we expect you will ensure a healthy, engaging, and inclusive work environment, while keeping the team motivated for high performance. You will also lead regular communication and engagement with stakeholders, as well as team members, where empathy and respect will be foundations to success. 

 

Additionally, other key responsibilities include: 

  • Facilitating an involving and constructive dialogue with senior stakeholders and teams in relation to career progression planning and organisational competency requirements 

  • Coaching and mentoring of colleague to unlock further personal growth 

  • Inspiring teams to cope with the constant transformation Novo Nordisk is in 

  • Participating in team and Agile Release Trains events to enable qualified mindset 

  • Identifying and developing diverse talents and successors 

 

Which competencies to bring? 

To succeed in this role, we expect you tick most of the following: 

  • 3+ years leadership experience from similar job 

  • Experience in Agile methodologies is preferred 

  • Knowledge or certification of change management and coaching would be a plus 

  • Proven track record of effective management and development in diverse environment 

  • Ability to empathize and build trust with direct reports, as well as senior stakeholders 

 

Personally, we expect you to be people-oriented, with a genuine passion for leading people towards high performance, using an empathetic approach. In addition, we would be happy to see you display an inclusive mindset and respect the diversity in others.
