About the Department

The Commercial Analytics team is part of Finance Global Business Services (GBS) at Novo Nordisk in Bangalore. Established in 2007, Finance GBS is responsible for supporting Accounting, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Commercial Analytics, Financial Planning & Analytics for Headquarters in Denmark, Region Europe, North America, International Operations & Global Service Centre Bangalore. The Commercial Analytics team was founded in June 2013 with the aim of providing dedicated analytics professionals to deliver best-in-class analytical services and insights to the global organization. Our team’s main purpose is to consistently provide superior service to our stakeholders and add value to processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.

 

The Position

As a Business Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive all stages of Marketing Mix modelling from the commercial pharma space.

  • Leverage Databricks and Snowflake platforms to manage pharma big datasets. Execute Marketing Mix models through Python.

  • Monitor the performance of deployed models, adjusting and updating as necessary to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data science solutions.

  • Develop and maintain documentation related to model development, deployment, and maintenance.

  • Use the Power BI interactive dashboard to share insights that effectively communicate the findings and value of the models to stakeholders.

  • Prepare presentations to drive critical business meetings, showcasing business insights and recommendations in line with a thorough understanding of market dynamics.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Master’s/bachelor’s degree in healthcare/life sciences, Economics, Statistics, or any data-related field.

  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience with advanced analytics or commercial projects.

  • Proven experience in market mix modelling techniques with a minimum of 3 years’ experience (preferably in the pharma domain).

  • Intermediate proficiency in Python and intermediate Power BI expertise.

  • Demonstrated experience with Databricks or similar platforms for large-scale data processing and analytics.

  • Good knowledge on Commercial Business.

  • Ability to find precise solutions from complex business problems thereby generating insights & recommendations.
