“I recently joined Novo Nordisk Rare Disease from another pharma company. Just within the first few months, I have fallen in love with the company culture. People “walk-the-talk” in terms of the company values - you really notice the transparency, the high level of positive attitude and support of colleagues, and I am allowed to be myself. My leader is supportive and has given me opportunities to take ownership and develop further. I also enjoy working cross-functionally and being part of a multi-cultural environment. As a unit, Novo Nordisk Rare Disease has a solid product pipeline that offers future growth and development opportunities, while driving innovation to shape the future of rare disease. I am very happy to have joined this team.”
“I have been blessed to work in this amazing company for over twenty years - and within this special place, the Rare Disease unit has definitely a unique position and culture. Wherever we sit in the organisation, we feel part of a bigger cause – and we all know exactly how we contribute to it every day. I am surrounded by people who have high ambitions, enviable creativity and are always supportive of each other. Most importantly, the culture that has developed in Rare Disease allows our people to truly flourish and thrive. The pipeline and the future have never felt more exciting, with so many game changing launches to come. I really love my job as the UK Head - I am given the perfect mix of autonomy, direction and trust to ensure the UK business and people continue to thrive and to grow into a bright future ahead.”
"In my daily work, I work cross-functionally in global project teams with highly skilled members across the value chain, with a common goal to develop new medicines in several therapeutic indications. In this very dynamic environment, my views may be challenged, but always respected and never discouraged. I feel privileged to work in a unit where everybody`s work and personality is honoured, and I am given the trust to make decisions. Aligned with my individual development aspirations, my Manager has also given me opportunities to grow and develop in my role but also through a short-term assignment in our Affiliate in Japan, supporting and getting exposed to local medical activities. This experience was highly motivating and rewarding for me, and the exchange has helped me to better understand their local context and help reach better decisions for the business."
