The position
This position encompasses the dual responsibilities of Training Specialist and Area Process Manager, with a focus on enhancing training programs and optimizing processes within the designated area. You will play a crucial role in aligning training initiatives with our strategic objectives, driving continuous improvements in our training systems and processes to meet the ever-changing needs of the business. In collaboration with SVP and CVP Training Partners and Professionals, you will develop and implement an innovative training strategy that leverages training as a strategic business tool, addressing complex challenges and boosting overall business performance. As the Training Specialist, you will lead the implementation and realization of training enhancements, providing guidance to training professionals at the SVP and CVP levels on training-related matters. You will champion a culture of learning and development throughout the organization. Your active engagement on the shop floor will involve mentoring colleagues and identifying opportunities to utilize training as a solution for business challenges, employing an investigative and solution-oriented mindset.
In your capacity as Area Process Manager, you will spearhead the Training Process Group within the Quality Organization, ensuring alignment with the Corporate Process Group's direction and initiatives. By monitoring training compliance and operational performance, you will ensure that our training processes are effective and aligned with the broader objectives of Novo Nordisk. You will also contribute to audits, inspections, and quality management reviews.
Your expertise will facilitate data-driven prioritization and decision-making, ensure compliance with Good Practice (GxP) requirements, and continuously refine our training standards to uphold the highest standards of excellence.

About the department
Our department, NNQ P&O Training, operates within NNQ People & Organisation and drives training initiatives across Novo Nordisk. Our responsibilities have expanded from developing and overseeing our central training offering to NNQ, to encompassing more central training activities across NN. Currently, our department consists of 16 skilled colleagues organised in two teams, Training Academy and Training Projects. You will be a part of the leadership team reporting into the Department Manager/SVP Training Partner.
