The position

Your roles and responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Lead the AskHR EMEA organisation in Denmark.
  • Provide strategic direction and drive operational excellence in daily operations and developmental events such as projects and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with Digital Development & Analytics, Employee Data Management, People & Organisation partners and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the growth, motivation of the teams and team spirit.
  • Ensure the deployment of GPOS (Global People & Organisation Services) initiatives and decisions, including cLEAN implementation, Hoshin Kanri process, performance management, and EVOLVE plans.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree within business, psychology, HR or similar, with a passion for leading others. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, COE (Center of Excellence) or similar function, with at least 5 years of experience in managing operational teams. Relevant experience leading other people managers is required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing HR Service Centres or shared services in a multinational organisation is a plus. Prior experience in the Pharma industry is preferred.
  • Skills in PC applications and different HR IT systems, preferably HR Knowledge Base, Employee Central (SAP SuccessFactors) or ServiceNow (SNOW).
  • Cross-cultural experience, working closely with colleagues in different locations (EMEA and India) and within matrix organisations.
  • Exceptional leadership, verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills with fluent English. Fluency in other European languages would be a plus.
  • Experience deploying cLEAN systems, gap analysis and continuous improvements.

 

About the department

The askHR area is one of the most important points of contact, offering resources and support within P&O area (HR) for internal Novo Nordisk employees; the ambition of the askHR Denmark team is to provide professional HR operational service and guidance to the approx. 35k+ employees working in Novo Nordisk in this country. The askHR unit is the first point of contact for all people inquiries and the team also contributes to the development of new global processes and systems, including new digital solutions. The GPOS - RSC EMEA team is comprised by both the askHR Denmark organization and the askHR + Payroll organization teams supporting the rest of EMEA region, based in Warsaw.
