We are seeking a Strategic Business Partner for Chemistry, Manufacturing & Control (CMC) Analysis & Characterization (AnaC) area who excels at juggling multiple tasks and can act a vital sparring partner for our Corporate Vice President (CVP).

The position

As Strategic Business Partner for the CVP of CMC AnaC area, you will support the CVP and the area’s management team on a wide range of business-related matters, both strategic, operational and financial tasks as well as providing selected day-to-day guidance, analyses, budget and communication-related tasks.

You will:

  • Act as the local anchor for the annual strategy process (Strategy2Action)
  • Support strategy deployment by identifying, developing and implementing business initiatives
  • Tracking actions and create presentation material for the CVP
  • Collaborate closely with different business units and build trusted relationships

You will drive impactful partnerships through frequent interaction with senior management and identify opportunities to help the organisation prepare for the many future opportunities and challenges.

As CVP Strategic Business Partner, you will have a dotted line to the CMC Executive Office, that delivers strategic management support, sparring and drive communication and other cross-functional projects and tasks across CMC. You will have a close collaboration with Strategic Business Partners in other CMC CVP areas.

The position is based in Måløv, Denmark. Some travel activities might occur from time to time.


Qualifications
We imagine you hold a relevant Master’s degree within science, business, finance or a related field, with 4-8 years of experience in business partnering, preferably within business development, project management or consultancy. Ideally, understanding of pharma industry is seen as an advantage.  

Furthermore you:

  • Possess excellent analytical skills, able to transform analyses into clear, impactful communication and actions.
  • Can facilitate strategic discussions on a senior management level and effectively manage stakeholders.
  • Take pride in handling and delivering on multiple operational and tactical projects simultaneously.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to enhance operational efficiency and drive business results.
  • Work proactively and independently, taking the lead on complex tasks and projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English are essential.

To succeed in this role, a deep understanding of business dynamics and the ability to analyse forecasts and translate them into actionable business strategies is required.

About the department
AnaC is a newly established CVP area in the CMC Product & Process Development organisation that develops, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for clinical trials globally. The area is responsible for designing and developing analytical methods, including characterisation, bioanalysis, stability, comparability, release and in-process testing. We are present from late research through lifecycle management across the entire product portfolio. We are attuned to emerging trends, industry requirements, and new technologies ensuring a strong support to key stakeholders in CMC. AnaC is an area that currently consist of 6 departments with a broad stakeholder landscape, and colleagues in both Ireland, Czech Republic and USA.
