The position
We are looking for someone who is motivated by and enjoy working with data, developing advanced models and deploying and applying these models for helping with setting the direction for short and long-term project portfolio generation.

About the department
You will be a part of the Novo Nordisk Insulin production, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (PS API) and assigned to Manufacturing 1 (M1), the world’s largest Insulin Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) manufacturing facility located in Kalundborg with fermentation, recovery, purification and utilities production under the same roof.
You will be employed in M1 Bioprocess Improvement-Optimization (M1 BIO), a group of 8 highly skilled colleagues plus MSc students all working with advanced mathematical modelling for bioprocess improvement and optimization. We follow the multiscale modelling approach for problem solving and we have activities in Applied Mathematical Modelling, Mechanistic Modelling, Process Control Modelling, Capacity Modelling and Supply Chain Optimization Modelling. As our new colleague, you will join us in the Capacity Modelling group where we focus on capacity analysis for production planning-scheduling.
