The position
In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for implementation and validation of equipment as well as optimizations and finding the right solutions for the purification team in the Mammalian API production. 
  • Handle change requests, deviations, validation protocols, reports, and solve bigger and smaller optimization projects across the department.
  • Be working cross-functionally with colleagues both within and outside of the department to solve tasks within projects. The complexity of your tasks will increase with your experience.

In this role, you have a great opportunity to explore the opportunities that Novo Nordisk can provide. You will touch base with a wide variety of knowledge fields, such as R&D, GMP, Production facilities, Deviations, Quality Assurance, Health and safety, minor investments etc. 

The position will be based in Gentofte.

 

Qualifications
To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:

  • A Master’s degree in natural science, engineering or equivalent combined with a technical interest in production equipment. 

In addition to that, the optimal candidate has:

  • Preferably experience within validation and equipment.
  • Skills within process and equipment optimization, installation, and operational verification.
  • Experience with the LEAN way of working/mindset.
  • GMP experience.
  • Fluency in English. Basic understanding of Danish is an advantage.

 

As a person you are a strong team player who can collaborate well with a diverse group of stakeholders e.g., pilot technicians and scientists, project managers, and QA. You contribute with great spirit, initiative, and flexibility. You are known for your can-do attitude, are comfortable with practical tasks, and find it natural to bring your technical knowledge within operation of systems or processes into play when finding the right solution to a specific task. You can challenge existing ways of working while proactively driving implementation of new solutions. 

 

About the department
As part of the Novo Nordisk PSQIT organisation, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development & Scaling makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture, and distribute drug candidates for clinical trials and have a strong culture with a “can do” mindset.

Our department, Mammalian Pilot Plant, consist of four teams which include cultivation, recovery, purification and a support team, where you will be part of the support team. Our pharmaceutical production processes utilise mammalian cells and our purified proteins are utilised in clinical trials and developmental trials. MPP is part of CMC Development where there is close collaboration with the API Development teams as well as across the API Pilot facilities.
