The Position
As an Advanced IT Developer I - SAP ABAP RAP  at Novo Nordisk, you will be anchoring below responsibilities:

  • Develop and debug ABAP code and optimize application performance while ensuring efficient and scalable solutions.
  • Support NovoNordisk SAP business processes with ABAP technical suggestions and enhancements.
  • Responsible for developing applications using the ABAP RAP, including creating business objects, behaviour definitions, and service definitions.
  • Coordinate and validate tests.
  • Facilitate communication and engagement with pertinent stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Should have overall 10+years of IT experience with relevant 8+ years experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Proficient in ABAP, with expertise in syntax, data types, and object-oriented programming, including core ABAP, OData, and RAP implementations.
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA, especially in ABAP RAP development with CDS views for data modelling in ABAP RAP, with a strong understanding of integration concepts, APIs, and web services.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Digital, Data & IT India is a team of 1000+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. The main role of DD&IT India is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management. Enterprise Platform & Tech Services (EPTS) department is an integral part of the DD&IT and responsible for systems used globally across all business areas, from R&D to Sales. The Novo Nordisk SAP Development (ABAP) Centre provides development services to Product Supply, R&D, Finance, and HR, handling some of the most critical IT processes in Novo Nordisk. Our team is dedicated to supporting key business processes and ensuring the alignment and implementation of governance and technical strategy.
