The position
As a Technical Lead, you will:
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and analytics solutions in Databricks.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful data delivery.
• Provide technical leadership to the team.
• Mentor and train less experienced colleagues.
• Apply industry best practices in all aspects of development.
The ideal candidate combines a robust technical background, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a strong emphasis on fostering team success over individual accomplishments. We need someone who can strengthen the team's skill set while also contributing to a positive and good social atmosphere in the team.
While prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry and familiarity with GxP processes is an advantage, it is not a mandatory requirement for this role.
Qualifications
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Lead with fluent proficiency in written and spoken English. The ideal candidate has a strong ability to quickly grasp business processes and data, demonstrates excellent problem-solving capabilities, and thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
• Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or other relevant field.
• Documented 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, CI/CD, Bash, DevOps and Git.
• Additional experience in Azure, Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, Qlik Sense and
automated testing is an advantage.
• Experience in modern software development.
As a proactive individual, you excel at seeing tasks through to completion. You bring a consultancy mindset, strong analytical abilities, and a strategic approach to your work. In addition, you possess exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with solid coordination and planning expertise.

About the department
Our team comprises 7 people and operates within the CVP area of "Global Patient Safety” with approximately 400 professionals based in Søborg. While we maintain a close collaboration with our sister team situated in Bangalore, your primary interactions will be with local colleagues.
We are a team of highly dedicated people with expertise in patient safety data. We always strive to work smarter, and we put a great effort in providing support to our line of business by ensuring seamless and user-friendly access to data through our solutions.
