About the department

DD&IT PS is the unit responsible for more than 100 global IT systems at Novo Nordisk, including the operation, maintenance, support, and development of these systems. These systems are used on a global scale by all areas of the business from R&D to Sales and are critical to the execution of key business processes such as development, manufacturing, sales, and finance. This position is anchored in LABs Product Management within DD&IT PS GBS and involves working in close cooperation with LABs, Denmark within DD&IT PS, Denmark.


The Position
As a LabVantage LIMS Architect at Novo Nordisk, you will responsible and highly skilled on LIMS, understand Pharma laboratory business process, compliance etc. Implementing the IT best practices for providing better services to stakeholders. You will be entrusted with the below responsibilities:

  • Serve as the architect for the global LIMS system developed on LabVantage LV 8. Provide technical support as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for complex business requirements.
  • Understand business requirements from the line of business and provide effective solutions.
  • Help the team investigate incidents and identify root causes for problems. Manage major incidents, problems, changes, and configurations.
  • Review qualification protocols and technical design specifications.
  • Review the concepts and designs of different project teams.

 

Qualifications

We realize that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes then you could be the person we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with 14-18 years of experience in IT, with more than 12 years in LIMS. 
  • Good interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate and communicate with external parties, primarily users and vendors. - Ability to represent Novo Nordisk in relations with users and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of IT best practices for providing better services to stakeholders. 
  • Experience in setting the overall direction for IT governance and processes.
  • Ability to define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision across the organisation. 
  • Experience in developing information technology strategies, policies, and plans.
