About the department
The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be part of the Finance & Operations team in Indonesia. This team manages financial planning processes, maintains operational efficiency, and drives projects that strenghten the growth of the commercial business. You will join a diverse team of around 10 professionals working in a dynamic and encouraging environment.

The Sr. FP&A Manager position is based in Jakarta and reports directly to the Finance and Operations Director, in Indonesia.

 

The position
As the Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager at Novo Nordisk Indonesia, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategies and driving business performance. Your expertise in financial planning and analysis will be key to ensuring robust financial management, delivering insightful reports, and contributing to strategic decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with various teams to enhance financial processes and contribute to our continued success and growth.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Oversee NNID’s (Novo Nordisk Indonesia) P&L, including ex-factory sales, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and Total Operating Cost (TOC) ensuring optimal resource allocation and high-quality budget submissions that comply with company guidelines.
  • Oversee and manage budget submissions (AB and RE) across the business, ensuring sales and cost targets are approved and embedded, while proactively collaborating with other affiliates to identify and implement best practices.
  • Provide regular insights and analysis on sales performance, revenue risks, and key product metrics, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders and the regional finance team.
  • Drive innovation by evaluating and implementing new forecasting tools, data models, and BI solutions, continuously improving processes and aligning them with industry trends and business needs.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, assist with business case development, and manage process optimization projects to enhance overall financial planning and reporting processes. Lead, coach, and develop the FP&A team, managing their day-to-day operations and ensuring their performance aligns with organizational goals.

 

Qualifications

  • Post-graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, with over 8 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning, Reporting, and Project Management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in people management, with a demonstrated track record of leading teams and driving business results in complex environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking abilities, capable of guiding the organization toward defined goals, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
  • Experience in implementing analytics and BI projects, with a deep understanding of data analysis, forecasting tools, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with a value and results-oriented approach to achieving business objectives. Fluency in English is required; international and cross-cultural experience is an advantage, providing a global perspective on financial planning and analysis.
