a part of creating state of the art VR experiences which make a difference.
The position
As a UX Designer in our Extended Reality team, you will be
responsible for conceptualizing, prototyping and testing user
interfaces for virtual environments, while always having the end
user in mind to create an intuitive and effortless user
experience. You will collaborate and be part of an agile Scrum
team, including 3D/CAD modelers, software developers, product
owners and other user experience designers and researchers to
create compelling and intuitive VR experiences.
Your tasks will include:
Design and prototype user interfaces for VR applications.
Collaborate with software developers to implement and iterate on VR UI design.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine design.
Stay up to date on the newest applications in XR to bring innovative ideas to the team.
Implement user interfaces for VR in Unity or other similar engines.
Please note that this is 1 year maternity cover, with a possibility to extend the contract.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
An Academic degree within a relevant field (e.g., Interaction Design, Game Design) combined with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in UX/UI Design.
Working experience in creating VR projects as well as with Unity or other similar engines.
Strong understanding of spatial design, and its implications on the VR user experience.
Experience in UI Design, and the limitations/possibilities of UI Design in XR products.
Experience with user research, usability testing, and user-centered design.
Familiar with agile methodologies and Scrum.
Fluency in spoken and written English.

communicator. Being detail-oriented ensures that you meticulously
consider every aspect of the user journey, enhancing usability and
satisfaction. Moreover, your strong communication skills enable
you to convey complex ideas clearly and collaborate effectively
with team members, stakeholders, and users, ensuring that the
final product aligns with the vision and needs of all parties involved.
About the department
You will be joining the newly formed Extended Reality team
in the Aseptic Manufacturing Engineering department. We are a
small and vibrant team which means you will have great
opportunities to influence processes, procedures and the way we
work together. This also means we expect you to be able to
self-direct and work in collaboration with the rest of the team
with a great degree of freedom and control.
