The Position 

As an Purview Tech Lead, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud solutions leveraging Azure services, with a specific focus on utilizing Purview for data governance and ensuring robust and secure network infrastructure.  

 

Your main responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Designing and implementing highly scalable and secure cloud solutions on Azure, adhering to best practices and industry standards. 

  • Implementing and managing Purview for data governance, including data classification, lineage tracking, and access control. 

  • Configuring and managing Azure Virtual Networks, subnets, firewalls, and other network security solutions. 

  • Implementing and configuring Azure Storage solutions, such as Azure Blob Storage and Azure Data Lake Storage. 

  • Configuring and managing Azure compute resources, including Azure App Service and Azure Functions. 

  • Automating infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform. 

  • You will collaborate closely with developers, data scientists, and other IT professionals to ensure alignment with business objectives and optimal performance of cloud deployments. 

 

Qualifications 

 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with most of the following qualifications: 

  • Educational degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field, and related accreditations would be a plus. 

  • +5 years of experience in Python, with strong technical programming skills. 

  • Previous experience designing and managing cloud solutions with a focus on data governance, preferably on Azure, but also open to AWS or CGP. 

  • A good understanding of SQL would be beneficial. 

  • Ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure services and technologies.
