Our introduction programme
We think that it is very important for you to get off to a good start with us. Therefore, we take the time to integrate you into the team so that you feel welcome at Novo Nordisk from your very first day.
Our introduction programme is divided into several phases. Firstly, there is an induction process that is the same for all new employees. This contains a range of elements, including interactive training on the Novo Nordisk intranet, which provides you with your first insight into Novo Nordisk and informs you of our history, vision, values, organisation, therapy areas and products.
The next phase is a one-day introduction course – again, for all new employees – on which you learn more about our products and our principles for good business practice. At this event, you will have plenty of opportunities to meet our group directors and to ask them questions.
Around six months after you join Novo Nordisk, you will take part in a meeting with one or more people suffering from diabetes. The event is called “Meet your customer”. We think that it is important for you to have a personal meeting with some of the people who depend on Novo Nordisk’s products.
After this, each department typically has its own tailor-made programme for new employees.
Following the introduction phase, we would like to hear your opinion of the process.
Previously, 90 per cent of new employees rated the introduction process as either “good” or “very good”. Your evaluation is very important to us, as it helps us raise the quality of our induction programme to ensure that you and others get off to the very best start with us.
