Use the injection technique your doctor or nurse has shown you.
To insert the needle: Hold PenMate® against your skin. Press the yellow button with your finger. The needle will automatically enter your skin.
Press the push button as far as it will go. After injection, the needle should remain under the skin for at least 6 seconds.
Pull out the needle. Always check the dosage indicator window to see if you have injected the full dose.
Put on the outer needle cap.
Unscrew the needle and discard it carefully.
Put on the pen cap.
