Activate PenMate® : Grip the mechanical section of NovoPen® 3 and PenMate® firmly and pull in opposite directions until you hear a click.
Caution: Do not pull the dosage selector.
Dial the dose you need by turning the dosage selector.
If you dial too large a dose, you can cancel the dose without wasting insulin.
