Use the injection technique your doctor or nurse has shown you.
Press the push button as far as it will go. After injection, the needle should remain under the skin for at least 6 seconds. Keep the push button fully depressed until the needle has been withdrawn.
Always check the dosage indicator window to see if you have injected the full dose.
Pull out the needle.
Put on the outer needle cap.
Unscrew the needle and discard it carefully.
Put on the pen cap.
