Three weeks ago the doctors found that my five-year old daughter has type 1 diabetes. It was a terrible shock for us and at that time the whole world broke down for us.
At the very first moment a picture came into my mind - the injecting of insulin for life. I was not able to imagine myself giving injections to my little girl four times a day. That was what I was most afraid of.
However, in the Faculty Hospital in Plzen my little Milenka has got NovoPen® Junior and I stopped being afraid. I found out that the administration of insulin by means of this pen is in fact the easiest thing in the whole treatment of diabetes.
Please, take these words as an expression of my thankfulness and the thankfulness of my daughter who is not at all afraid of the injections thanks to Novo Nordisk, and moreover she even boasts to her friends about her pens.
